Agricultural Technology Development Centers (ATDC) Kenya 

Agricultural Technology Development Centers (ATDC) are a GOK Ministry Department and Agency (MDA) domiciled in the Agricultural Engineering Services Directorate (AES), State Department for Crops Development and Agricultural Research, Ministry of Agriculture Livestock Fisheries and Cooperatives. Spread out across 10 locations in the Country, ATDCs are of strategic value, offering Agricultural Engineering Services to the public and counties within their mandate.

Organization Structure & key staff 

Chief Engineer ATDC Stations 

The Chief Engineer Ministry of Agriculture is the superintending Engineer for all ATDC stations. He takes charge of day to day technical management of the stations and sets the strategic direction for the stations.

Permanent Secretary Ministry of Agriculture

Like all Ministries, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture is the Chief Accountant of all ATDC stations in the country. 

Station Managers/Center Engineers 

All ATDC Stations are manned by a station manager who doubles up as the Center Engineers. The Center Engineers are in charge of the day to day management of each station inline with prevailing strategies and policies of the ministry. 

Engineering Secretary MOALF 

The Engineering Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture is the Technical Manager of all ATDC Stations in Kenya. All Ministry of Agriculture Engineers and ATDC staff report to him.
